«•••••••» is a redevelopment project situated in Zürich-Wollishofen, transforming an industrial area into a vibrant urban lakeside neighborhood. The project includes residential apartments, public green spaces, and commercial and office facilities. It consists of four distinct buildings: an existing three-story structure, a new four-story office building, a five-story residential building by the lake, and a new four-story headquarters for KIBAG. A large underground parking garage with 117 spaces connects all the buildings, enhancing accessibility.
The existing building, originally designed as a window factory, will retain commercial use on the ground and first floors while incorporating ten affordable apartments on the second floor. This building is set to undergo careful restoration to meet modern energy standards while preserving its architectural character. The loft-style apartments will feature light wells to ensure adequate ventilation and natural light.
The residential building by the lake will contain a total of 54 rental apartments, complemented by commercial spaces on the ground and first floors. The apartment layout is organized around a communal courtyard, promoting an open and airy living environment. A rooftop terrace will offer views of the lake, and each apartment will have access to storage and shelter areas in the basement. The overall design emphasizes a balance of work and life, catering to both residential and commercial needs in the community.
